You, as a tenant, must ensure that it is clean and tidy when you leave the laundry room after you have finished your laundry session. Leave the laundry room the way you want to find it. To think about when you wash

• Respect booked times and book only one washing time at a time.
• Think about the environment and don’t run half-empty machines.
• Choose the right detergent and dose the right amount. Too much detergent does no good in your laundry.
• The laundry basket is used for clean laundry and only in the laundry room.
• Use a laundry bag when washing underwired bras.

To think about when you have finished washing

• Wipe out the machines and detergent dispensers after use.
• Remove the lint from the tumble dryer filter and dry the machine.
• Clean the floor and wipe off the counter tops.
• Take your empty packaging with you and dispose of it in the correct container in the environmental room.
• Remember to switch off the lights and lock the door when leaving.

A few things to remember

• Don’t forget to empty your pockets – both for the sake of the machine and the clothes.
• Carpets, regardless of size, must not be washed in washing machines.
• Avoid using chlorine in the machines. The chlorine can ruin the laundry for whoever washes after you.
• Be considerate of your neighbors by not smoking or bringing pets into the laundry room.
