Suggestion of new tenants after termination
I have friends who are interested in the apartment once we moved out and I would like to suggest them as new tenants. Is this an option?

Dear tenants,
The requirement for naming a new tenant is the existence of a notice of termination of the current tenancy.
Questions regarding the appointment of a new tenant can only be clarified after a preliminary inspection of the apartment has taken place.
During the pre-acceptance appointment, details regarding the return of the apartment and any renovation work will be discussed.
You will be informed of the contact details for arranging the appointment with the written confirmation of termination.
Whether a follow-up rental is possible in individual cases is open-ended until the inspection has taken place.
We kindly ask you not to submit any application documents from potential new tenants until this decision has been made.
After a preliminary inspection of the terminated apartment, you can propose the potential new tenant to service@heimstaden.de.
Please note that the processing of requests for new tenants can only take place in detail 6 weeks before the end of the contract.
