Problem with the kitchen ventilation?

If the ventilation is not absorbing enough air from cooking, then the extractor fan and filter are probably full of grease. There are often 2 different filters in the ventilations fans, a grease filter in steel and a charcoal filter that sits inside the kitchen fan. 

• The grease filter can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher. Use warm water with Zalo, preferably add a little Salmiakk and wash the filters by hand. It is important to rinse the fans properly and make sure to dry the parts aswell. 
• The charcoal filter must be removed and replaced with a new one, and is recommended to do once or twice a year.

The external parts of the ventilation can be cleaned with a microfiber cloth dampened with water. Make sure to wipe the external parts of the ventilation with paper or a completely dry cloth.
