Change of contract partners
Is it possible to release of contract partner without giving up the tenancy?

Dear tenants,
The dismissal of one contract partner, a so-called partial termination is not effective.
There is a possibility to create a supplement to the rental contract which can be used to release a contract partner from the contract.
To review your request, state the date you want to move out and send us the last three payslips of the remaining tenants. The supplemental contract must then be signed by all contracting parties in order to be valid.
We also would like to draw your attention to the fact that no partial repayment of the deposit will be made. If a new prospective contract partner is to be added to the rental contract, please send us a completed self-declaration form and the last three payslips.
Please note that verification of the identity of the potential subtenant is mandatory.
Heimstaden reserves the right to ask for the identity card of the person in consideration. The supplementary contract can only be drawn up once we have received all the documents.
Kindly note that this request is an individual decision made by the landlord.
You create a request on MyHome and upload the documents there.
If you are unable to use MyHome, you can also send the documents to service@heimstaden.de.
