When can I expect my caution deposit in my bank account?

Hello,
I moved out of the apartment four months ago and I still haven't received my caution deposit money to my account. I have already sent email to my letting specialist but no answer. And I haven't received any update from Heimstaden regarding that. Could you please let me know when I can expect to have it and why it's taking so long for you give an update?

    We are eager to settle all formalities concerning the refunding of the security deposit as soon as possible.
    The release of the deposit to be refunded can take up to six months due to bank deadlines and the examination of possible claims.

    I have the same query. I moved out of my apartment in berlin over 5 months ago. I have not received my money back, neither have received any update. I have sent countless emails without any response. Please let me know when Can I expect my deposit money back? Do I need to go to a court to claim it?

    The release of the deposit to be refunded can take up to six months due to bank deadlines and the examination of possible claims.

    This means that the deposit should be paid out end of March, beginning of April.
